Who We Are

Our Vision

Youth sports are an integral part of growing a healthy mind and body. Not only do youth sports teach the skills of the game, but they also teach character, discipline, and self-control. Youth sports are essential for the comprehensive development of young people.

We wish to offer young athletes not only a chance to learn and play competitive basketball, but a place to learn character, morals and values that align with the Word of God. At Six Shooter Basketball©, we believe in growing the body, the mind, and the spirit. Our focus is to teach the fundamentals of basketball while honoring God in all we do. We aim to create a family atmosphere, where athletes, parents, and coaches feel like family. We will support each other, on and off the court.

Six Shooter Basketball will be relational. There will be an emphasis on creating relationships with the players and their parents. We are providing a service to the parents and players, and we want to have a focus on great customer service. We will have friendly smiles, listening ears, and open hearts.

Another goal of our club will be the college recruitment process. We will have contacts with college coaches both in Texas and nationally to get our players recognized and recruited by colleges. We desire to see our athletes go on to compete at the next level.

A basketball club is an organization that has multiple teams playing under one name. A club may have several coaches and multiple teams per grade level. Six Shooter Basketball will not only be a basketball club, but by year 4 of our plan, we will have our own facility, The Six Shooter Athletic Complex, to practice and play. Our competitive club teams will compete in AAU sanctioned events. The Amateur Athletic Union is the standard governing body of youth competitive sports in the US. One of the largest, non-profit, volunteer, multi-sport event organizations in the world, the AAU is dedicated exclusively to the promotion and development of amateur sports and physical fitness programs.

The vision for Six Shooter Basketball is a five-year plan that grows the club from the ground up. We will start as two girls high school AAU teams, and in five years, the Six Shooter Athletic Complex will be open, and we will have multiple teams—both boys and girls—competing for our club. The Six Shooter Athletic Complex will be a $3.3 million state-of-the-art 41,255 square foot athletic complex to host basketball tournaments, generate revenue and give back to our community. It will have 4 high school regulation sized courts, 8 middle school regulation size courts, an observation deck, locker rooms and a weight room. We will be a basketball powerhouse, who will not only glorify God, but we will win championships.
