Mission: To train Christian leaders by teaching them character though the sport of basketball.  

The foundation of Six Shooter Basketball is rooted and grounded in the Word of God. We believe that Christ is King, and everything we do will be to exalt and edify Jesus Christ. To this end, we will rely on Philippians 4:8-9 as our guiding scripture verse.  

And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.  

Non-Negotiables  

Our coaches will be held to high ethical standards on and off the court. 

Our athletes and coaches will not get technical fouls for cussing, fighting, talking back, taunting, trash talk, unsportsmanlike conduct, etc.  

Dedication: Athletes will be expected to attend practices and tournaments.  

Shooting Form: Athletes will be expected to learn proper shooting form and practice on their own.

Defense: Defense wins championships. A primary emphasis will be placed on defense. Never let an offensive player cross your face. Help-side defense.
